João Pedro Rodrigues

Lawyer

Degree in Law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra.

Holder of a Master’s Degree in Public Law from the same Faculty.

Doctorate in Public Law, in the area of Tax Law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra.

Since 1998, he has been teaching at the Faculty of Law of Coimbra, having taught the subjects of Introduction to Law, Constitutional Law, International Public Law, Administrative Law III, Tax Law I, Tax Law II, Corporate Tax Law.

He has served as member of juries for the access to the career of magistrates of the Administrative and Tax Courts at the Center for Judicial Studies.

He was Advisor to the Judges Office of the Constitutional Court between 2003 and 2011.

He has supervised and participated in juries of several master’s dissertations in the area of administrative and tax law.

He was a member of the dissertation evaluation jury at the Facultà di Giurisprudenza da Università del Salento, Lecce, and was the Correlatore of a Tesi di Laurea presented there.

Winner of the Afonso Rodrigues Queiró Prize for the best master’s dissertation in Public Law, addressing the subject of Normative criteria for the predetermination of taxable matters – The new paths opened by the [pre] alleged indirect assessment in the taxation of income, presented in 2002.

A registered member of the Portuguese Bar Association since 2002.
